Should've had the countries' leaders get together and fight to the death. Winner wins the war. Would've saved millions of lives and billions of dollars

Amazing to hear the sound of a young man's voice - a young soldier's voice - from 104 years ago. Stirring.

They spoke of "democracy". Where exactly is a democracy on Earth? Isn't the U.S. an aristocracy? It's been ruled by the wealthy since the Declaration of Independence was signed.

THE Balkans ! my trip to what was then, Yugoslavia, in May, 1984. I was in Lublyana, what was the largest city in Slovenia. country itself : Croatia / Slovenia / Serbia / Montenegro, & Bosnia, was gorgeous. The people, fascinating, full of their history. I'll never forget was the tour-guide we had in Lublyana{ yes, I'm misspelling the name] remarked what a beautiful country Yugoslavia of anger & indignation me in front of a there was no such thing, as " Yugoslavia " that SHE was Slovenian, thank-you ! had no idea just how her words would ring true in less than 6 years. 73 y/o

Franz Joseph should have abdicated decades before his death and let Franz Ferdinand try his thing. 40-50 years on the throne should be enough for anyone.

None of these " documentaries " ever talk about who financed these wars, all of them are financed by the same people. This is paramount to understanding war.
