Hubsan Zino 2 Plus is the best ZINO Drone so far! Review.

I was thinking about that one even before I ordered a new recent MJX, and now I am pretty convinced. All the complaints about Zinos spiraling uncontrollably seem to be by those who don't read the manuals, because the one I flew (an older version) was rock stable up to level 4 winds. And I really liked the camera, that Sony sensor really stepped the game up for Hubsan. Looking forward to get it before the next Christmas.

Here I am purchasing my 3rd drone (the Zino 2+) after watching your video. I took a year to learn on other drones you reviewed (the CSJ S166 and then the JJRC X5 Epik) before taking the leap to a high quality drone. Thanks for another great review! Nice drone but sadly quite expensive (for me), and if I had such money, I suppose, I will add a bit more and get refurbished Autel :)
Regarding full card issue - not only fps matters but bitrate as well, and I guess bitrate of the recorded video is also impressive.

Another great review. Such a great price for what you get, but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger because Hubsan isn't as trusted as DJI and I really like the Mini 2. I just wish the Mini 2 had the GPS follow mode.

My only criticism is ime not too struck on the screws on the rota blades, it's a heavy drone, I like what JRC did on my pro epic 5, having a locking nut with a spanner, looked a much better idea, Shame hubsan didn't adopt it

The Zino 2 Plus really looks to be a great quad and very nice looking too BUT try finding a spare or replacement battery for it. That is a deal breaker for me which I learned the hard way with Autel when they completely dropped support for the XStar after a few years and there aren't any batteries to be found for it. Now I have a $800 paper weight when I can find parts and batteries for my Parrot Bebop 2 everywhere and it came out the same time as the Autel XStar. I would love to get the Zino Plus 2 but don't want another expensive paper weight after a few years.

Great video but I do have some questions. I started out a H501A. It is suppose to do waypoints with the app. However, I found that if the drone loses contact with the phone it just stops and hovers, ie. the waypoint missions are NOT autonomous. I then moved up to the H109s pro high end with the H7000 transmitter and it DOES autonomous waypoint missions plus I can swap different cameras in and out. I really love this drone and the H7000 controller but they are both heavy and bulky.

So, I have thought about getting the Zino 2/+ as it can supposedly go 8/9km but, as with the H501A, I can't see it being able complete a waypoint mission straight out 4k and then 4k back UNLESS the Zino waypoint missions ARE autonomous. So I would like to know have you tested this feature and are the waypoint missions with the Zino 2/+ autonomous or not?

Also, how far out can you maintain flight control and FPV? Does it come with a Android cable?

Nice review, as always. Good to see Hubsan continuing to improve their product, but exasperating when you've just bought an upgraded model and they fetch out an upgrade to the upgrade.

I don't know if it's a USA thing or not, but the Hubsan website has it about 40 US dollars cheaper at the time of this writing.
It looks like a great drone. I started with the Hubsan h501SS and worked my way up to the EVO I have now. Another great review!!

I noticed that the Zion 2+ is rated to fly from 10c - 40 c. The low temperature operation is 50 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. Did you experience any problems when you tested it? I follow you because you do an excellent job testing drones for all your subscribers to see. Unfortunately I’m in a 5 miles flight restriction due to an airport about 4 miles away in New York and cannot just fly when I want.
