Lyrics:
{Fading in}
Bawitdaba, da bang, da dang diggy diggy
Diggy, said the boogie, said up jump the boogie
Bawitdaba, da bang, da dang diggy diggy
Diggy, said the boogie, said up jump the boogie
Bawitdaba, da bang, da dang diggy diggy
Diggy, said the boogie, said up jump the boogie
Bawitdaba, da bang, da dang diggy diggy
Diggy, said the boogie, said up jump the boogie
My name is Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid
Kid Rock

Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie

And this is for the questions thatdon't have any answers
The midnight glancers, and the topless dancers
The can of freaks, cars packed with speakers
The G's with the forty's and the chicks with beepers

The northern lights and the Southern Comfort
And it don't even matter if your veins are punctured
All the crackheads, the critics, the cynics
And all my heroes at the methadone clinics

All you bastards at the I.R.S
For the crooked cops and the cluttered desks
For the shots of Jack and the caps of meth
Half pints of love and a fifth of stress

All the hookers that are tricking out in Hollywood
And for my hoods of the world misunderstood
I said it's all good and it's all in fun
Now get in the pit and try to love someone!

Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie (Love someone)
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie (Come on)
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie (Love someone)
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie (Come on)

For the time bombs ticking and the heads they hang
All the gangs gettin' money and the heads they bang - bang
Wild mustangs, the porno flicks
All my homies in the county in cell block six

The grits when there ain't enough eggs to cook
And to D.B. Cooper and the money he took
You can look for answers but that ain't fun
Now get in the pit and try to love someone!

Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie (Come on)
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie
Bawitdaba da bang da bang diggy diggy diggy
Shake the boogie said up jump the boogie

Love, and for the hate
And for the peace
Waaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr!

Middle aged dad here. This song got me through cutting the hedge around our house. I was really not feeling up for it, but then I remembered this song from my youth. I put it on, and I was done in two shakes of a lambs tail. Thanks Kid Rock.

I'm 52 listening to this on my patio outside at level 11. When I close my eyes I'm right back there in the 90's. My neighbors see me standing still with my eyes closer while inside I'm in the pit feeling alive.

I've listened to this song more than a few times in the last 23 years, it never once crossed my mind to think there would be a music video for it. The video is pretty much what I expected when I got here, pretty damn good. 👍

I finally got to see Kid Rock live in Tulsa Oklahoma at the BOK Center and he is phenomenal! It was a sold out show and everyone was on their feet rockin’ out! Kid was so amazed by his fans and he came back on stage twice for us all! It was so awesome and amazing for me to watch him perform and I took several videos and still go back and watch them! 🎶💯🎶❣️💯❣️

this was good and great for an intense version and the quality from the audio was pretty fair but not too pristine but I do honestly think in my opinion the only thing wrong with this version was it had Josie's part cut out and that's the best part of the whole transition from kid Rock bringing the high chorus into this melodic form of metal transpires into the next lead ft Josie, which he is great lyricalist at that time for his performance of a different type of Genre before he passed but it's always nice to come back to listen to this kind of music and relate to an appreciated at the same time when Music!! Was real!! fucking Music!!!

I have just had, yanked from the deepest wells of my memory, the recollection of strolling through a Best Buy in Memphis, Tennessee to pick up "Devil Without a Cause" after seeing this music video. It is a strange, beautiful, wonderful thing, the impact that music can have; a few notes and a melody can hurl you backward into an entirely different era.

I have the fondest reminiscence for those days. Summers so hot the pavement baked underfoot, and we were propelling ourselves on rickety skateboards down the asphalt. The whole time, this song was part of the sonic background; listening to this again years later renews a small ember of that wild flame I used to have, the optimism, the enthusiasm, the sheer unbridled zest to tackle the entire world.

What a wonderful thing, music is.
