Twitch is hard, but these habits were the real reason I wasn't growing. Once I changed these I hit partner in about a month.

I'd like to thank that little section of hair for being the star of this video. What things have you changed since you started?

UPVOTE TO SAVE TIMES & LIVES
1. Your stream won't grow insanely quick or fast while you're live. Make Youtube content instead.
2. Networking doesn't work like you think it will. You can't network your way to stardom.
3. Quit chasing brands and sponsorships and ads.
4. Looking for shortcuts in growing your channel can backfire and hurt you.
5. Don't be afraid to put down the games and Just Chat!

Just chatting is really good once you get a fan base built, to start off I’d recommend quality gameplay.

Makes me so sad when I see twitch streamers putting in tons of hours a day on twitch, just to stream with 1 viewer. It's so unnecessary, thanks for making these videos you really helped me out a ton.

You're the guy that made me start my "career" by working smart. Now, a year later, I do 1-3 videos a week on Youtube(recently started with my Youtube channel), stream 4-5 days a week (scheduled) & I think I'm growing pretty fast at the moment. I would like to thank you for making these videos brother, they are appriciated! Keep up the good work man^^

Well I already enjoying playing video games and a lot of my own reaction in games just crack myself up, so I say why not put it on twitch so ppl can enjoy my personality on top of the gameplay lol also it helps me to get out of my comfort zone, cuz I’m very shy
I’m not looking to get famous or become rich, just a way for me to help and influence others the best way I can, I started making youtube videos first before twitch and I found it helps me out a lot to get comfortable talking in front of the camera lol

This is actually all around great advice. In relationships, in business, and in fulfillment. Give first, then ask. It's always about the value you put out into the world.

08:48 - Have to disagree there. The relationship between a streamer and viewers is almost entirely one-sided, even if the streamer focuses on one person for a moment. For a viewer to ever assume they've developed a two way relationship is incredibly faulty, and full of problems. I've heard of a lot of bad stories where a viewer "felt" the bond they had with a streamer was reciprocated, when in reality that wasn't the case and couldn't realistically be the case. Mentally ill people are especially prone to falling into that trap, and it can get messy real quick. Streamers are entertainers, not friends.
