Western star is an American company and not Canadian...and they are freightliner's..

Optimus Prime (Peterbilt 379) from Transformers (2007), Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) is so times way 100% way much better than Optimus Prime (Western Star 5700) from both Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) and Transformers: The Last Knight (2017).

Pete's are slowly getting a better rep for heavy loads off-road but the Star is still the way to go for me hands down....much easier to work on in the bush where air bag and suspension repairs are part of the routine

I know I'm not supposed to trust Wikipedia, but it says that Western Star is made in Portland, Oregon. But I'll tell ya, no matter where they are from, they sure are nice.

Uh My STAR was built in Portland OR and is not a piece of crap.

Originally they were made in Canada but then just like so many other Canadian companies, Move to the USA. I own a Western Star logging truck and I would not buy a Peterbilt for the Bush roads, they are not tough enough.

You don't have to like the way they look, don't own one, nor is one of them yours.
