Wow! Glover is so damn clever, he is wearing a T-shirt of his new album "Awaken, My Love!" months before he actually announced it and released it! This dude is literally promoting it before any of us knew about it! This is why he's one of the best

Every single time. EVERY TIME in EVERY interview or smth when he's made to freestyle or do smth spontaneous he seems so unsure of himself in the beginning but then 10 seconds later he just proceeds to kill the shit out of it.

If this was an actual song, it would be on the radio 24/7

People who are so certain that this was scripted are almost certainly not musicians. Could it have been, of course. Is there any reason to believe that it was, not really. For one, at first you can tell that Donald was searching for lyrics to rhyme. The rest of the words afterwards were pretty basic. Then you have the instrumental which, while funky, was nothing incredibly complex and a jam that a skilled band is entirely capable of jumping in to.

To the normal folk this seems superhuman and impossible. But dedicated musicians with a lifetime of practice under their belt can very much improvise at this level. And besides all that, this truly does just feel way too organic and fun to be preconceived.

Looking back this whole thing was a foreshadowing of Awaken, My Love! From the t-shirt to the music they "made."
